TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Coaches are randomly paired for the first match. Matches 2, 3, and 4 will be paired in Swiss format. We strive to avoid double matches whenever possible. This tournament has a resurrection format, teams start eacht match with the basic composition as at the start of the tournament (no SPPs or permanent casualties are applied).
Matches last 90 (non stop) minutes consisting of 85 minutes of playing time, 5 minutes to change tables and start the next match. Coaches have a max. 42,5 minutes to play all of their turns for both halves.
EXCEEDING THE TIME LIMIT
In case a coach exceeds the 42,5 minutes of playing time, the following rule applies: the coach who has no more playing time left, does not perform any more actions. The coach raises (stands up) his players only if they have become prone. The other coach can continue to play until this coach has also reached the maximum playing time. If both coaches have used up the 42,5 minutes, the game ends immediately, regardless of status or remaining actions until this coach hast also reached the maximum playing time. If both coaches have used up the 42,5 minutes, the game ends immediately, regardless of status or remaining actions.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring a team and players that are clearly marked and recognizable (teams do not have to be painted, but we think the game looks better if they are!)
Three 'Block' dice, two D6, one D8 and one D16 dice. Preferably official Blood Bowl dice.
Throw-in, Scatter and Pass templates.
A custom playing field (may be homemade as long as the size and proportion of the field and squares match the official playing field. There are some spare playfields available but not nearly enough to supply everyone.
The LBBL uses Tourplay, make sure you can access your own and your opponent's roster with a smartphone or other device.
